Adamawa first lady felicitates with Christians, call for renewal of hope

HAJIYA Lami Fintiri, wife of Adamawa Governor, has felicitated with Christian faithful on 2023 Christmas celebration and called for renewal of hope in 2024.

Mrs Fintiri stated this in a message issued by her Press Secretary, Clara Mustafa, in Yola on Monday.

She reflected on the significance of the celebration as a time of renewal, hope, compassion and extends her warmest greetings to all who partake in the festivities.

“As families come together to exchange gifts, share meals and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

“I encourages all to embrace the values of unity, kindness and solidarity,” she said.

Mrs Fintiri called on the people of the state to spread goodwill and harmony within their communities, fostering a sense of togetherness and understanding among people of diverse backgrounds.

“I extend my heartfelt prayers for a joyous, peaceful and blessed Christmas for every family and individual in Adamawa State.

“And acknowledges the challenges that many have faced throughout the year and hopes that this festive season will bring comfort, healing and a renewed sense of optimism to all,” she said.

The first lady further expressed optimism for a brighter future for the people in the state and county at large in 2024.

She emphasised the importance of unity and cooperation in overcoming obstacles and building a stronger and prosperous community for all.

“I encourage everyone to approach the new year with hope, determination and a commitment to collective progress,” she urged. (NAN)
