Adamawa Govt. supplies instructional materials to 650 schools

Julius Kadala, Adamawa Commissioner of Education, says over 500 junior secondary schools and about 150 primary schools were equipped with instructional materials since 2016, when the state declared emergency on education.
The commissioner also said that the government embarked on massive equipping of secondary schools’ laboratories with modern science equipment.
Kadala spoke on Wednesday in Yola, in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Kadala said the development was part of government’s effort to upgrade and equip secondary schools laboratories across the state
” Since the declaration of state of emergency on education by the state government in 2016, there was massive reconstruction and upgrading of schools.
” Among the major areas of concentration is the expansion and equipment of science laboratories in our secondary schools, ” Kadala said.
He also explained that under the state of emergency, about 10,000 teachers were trained in human capacity development and psychology. ( NAN)
