Adamawa INEC REC granted bail, investigations ongoing

THE Nigeria Police Force has confirmed that Hudu Yunusa-Ari, the suspended Adamawa State Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, has been released on bail.

Yunusa-Ari has been in  custody of the police for interrogations in the course of  investigations into allegations of impropriety during the supplementary gubernatorial pools in the state.

Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Force public relations officer, Force Headquarters, Abuja confirmed the REC was granted administrative bail by the police while investigations subsist on Friday, May 5, in a statement he made available to the media.

Yunusa-Ari is expected to report at the Police Headquarters every weekday while investigations are ongoing on the matter.
