MEMBER representing Oorelope Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Lukman Balogun, on Tuesday said that the Action Democratic Congress (ADC) will form the next government in Oyo State.

Balogun, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), alleged that he was pushed out of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“I’m quite sure ADC will form the new government in Oyo State.

“I have been in party partisan politics for some time now and I can tell at every point in time where the pendulum will swing.

“The APC pushed us out and we have left for them.

“When you see results of next elections we would know by then who owns the electorate.

“Many of us in the State Assembly were not allowed to attend meetings and party functions, in our respective constituencies.

“We made several attempts to make peace, but in vain,” he said.

The lawmaker, however, stressed that, before leaving the APC for the ADC, he had secured the endorsement of his constituency.

Balogun added that the welfarist tendency of the ADC enticed him to the party.
