Adeleke administration welcomes constructive criticisms - Alimi

THE present administration in Osun State under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke is always ready to welcome constructive criticism from the opposition parties with a view to improving on the delivery of dividends of democracy to the people
Commissioner for information and public enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi stated this on Imole Ayo, an enlightenment programme which promotes the activities of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration on OSBC Radio and Television channels
The programme was put in place by the office of the spokesperson to the governor, Mallam Olawale Rasheed to promote the activities of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration
Alimi described Senator Ademola Adeleke as a God fearing man who governs Osun State with utmost transparency, due process and the rule of law hence he has been able to record great achievements within eight months in office
The legal practioner cum politician used the occasion to highlight some of the achievements of the administration to include the completion of over thirty kilometers of road while several other kilometers of road projects are ongoing, free medical and surgical outreach across the nine federal constituencies of Osun State.
Others are distribution of drugs to all primary health centers, sinking of three hundred and thirty two boreholes in all the wards across the state, payment of salaries arrears to civil servants and retirees, grading of roads in all rural areas among others
Answering questions on the capability of the new commissioners, Alimi emphasized that the appointees are capable and ready to deliver in their various ministries urging the people to understand that the portfolios were assigned to the cabinet members based on their background experiences.
The commissioner for Information and public enlightenment enjoined the people of Osun State to continue supporting governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration for them to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
