Africa Cup: Nigeria lose by 3 wickets to Botswana

NIGERIA’S senior men’s cricket team, on Saturday, lost by three wickets to her Botswana counterparts at the ILT20 Africa Cup in Rwanda.

The four-nation tournament ongoing at the Gahanga Cricket oval in Kigali, saw Nigeria won the toss and opted to bat first.

Vincent Adewoye’s 22 off 18 had the best batting performance for the West Africans as they scored 141/9 in 20 overs.

In the chase, Botswana scored 142.7 in 19.5 overs. Botswana won by three wickets.

Nigeria will face Rwanda on Sunday before meeting Uganda on Monday . (NAN)
