AFRICAN Alliance Insurance Plc., has bagged the National Daily Newspapers’ Insurance Company of the Year award.
Its Managing Director, Mrs Joyce Ojemudia also emerged the Insurance Personality for the year 2022.
Ojemudia in a statement made available on Thursday in Lagos, said the award was in recognition of the company’s unflinching dedication to excellence.
She said the insurance company, having held several awards previously, was also recognised for its customer-focused strategy and unwavering performance over the years.
The managing director said her insurance personality award was in recognition of her exceptional leadership, strategic vision and outstanding performance in driving the growth and success of the company.
She appreciated God, the company’s Board of Directors and the entire African Alliance team for their unwavering dedication and hard work.
She also thanked the underwriting firm’s customers and stakeholders for their trust and unwavering support, which she said had propelled the organisation to greater heights.
“This double win is a testament to our unrelenting pursuit of excellence, commitment to settling genuine claims and our passion for providing exceptional customer service.
“Our consistent 17 per cent increase in claims settlement year- on- year since 2020, with over N27.6 billion paid out, over three years, has been a major contributing factor to our recognition as company of the year.
“African Alliance has been a major player in the Nigerian insurance industry for more than 63 years, upholding values of paying genuine claims and excellent customer service.
