AFTER THE DARKEST HOUR,THE DAY BREAKS
Poem
SOME didn’t contribute ,some did
See the need to talk to somebody
About this good work!
If you can’t walk , crawl
If you can’t run ,walk
In all ,keep on doing something
Is the zeal waning!
Don’t let your spirit sag
The task seems impossible
But with God all are possible
Let not our spirits be dampen.
It is a task that must be done.
We must not waver!
No waiver of responsibility!
We shall not prevaricate
No room for procrastination
If we hold on for a while
All hands must be on the deck
From your desk pull all strings
The salvation will come
I know government will assist
But we should not despair
Before a rescuer appears
Let us continue to trudge on
No challenge is insurmountable
The Egyptians you see today
Soon, you shall see them no more!
After sorrowful night,
The joy comes in the morning
A quitter doesn’t win
A winner doesn’t quit
We must not quit
In Christ ,we are more than conquerors
In Him, victory is ours
Let us persevere
A little while after the darkest hour
The day breaks
Do something !
Contribute your widow’s mite
So that later ,we all shall join the victory parade,
In singing our favourite tune
“We shall conquer”
We ,indeed shall conquer!
Keep on, keeping on!
Victory is near!
