Agency hands over items of 2 deceased pilgrims to families

THE Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Agency on Thursday handed over the items of two pilgrims who died in Saudi Arabia to their families.

The Executive Secretary of the Agency, Dr Yusuf Yakubu Arrigasiyyu, gave the items to the next-of-kin of the deceased.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the hand-over of the items took place at the headquarters of the agency located on Katsina Road, Kaduna.

Arrigasiyyu named the two late pilgrims from Kaduna State as Maryam Ahmad and Asiya Aminu from Igabi and Zaria Local Government Areas, respectively.

Shortly after handing over the items to the families, Arrigasiyyu led the special prayers for the deceased.

Aminu Umar, next of kin to Asiya Aminu and Kabiru Ahmed, next of kin to Maryam Ahmed, thanked the Kaduna State Government and the agency for handling over the items to them. (NAN)
