Super Eagles player, Ahmed Musa, has announced the death of his mother.

Musa shared the news on his verified Twitter handle on Thursday. He tweeted, “What a sad day of my life. I just lost my mum.”

He had earlier shared a get well message directed at his mother, who had obviously been ill.

He tweeted two photos and wished that she would soon get back on her feet, telling her family, that she was “back in action”.

“I am sure being tucked in bed is not the best thing you know how to do. All your children are waiting for you to get out of bed and say ‘I am back in action’. Get well soon Sweet Mum!”
