BETTY Anyanwu-Akeredolu, wife of Ondo State governor, has again stressed the need for education in order to be successful in life.

She stated this when she hosted NTA kiddies Club who were on a familiarisation tour to the government house, Alagbaka, in Akure, Ondo State capital.

Akeredolu used the opportunity to educate the children on danger of breast cancer. She highlighted the activities of BRECAN in saving lives.

The wife of the governor urged the children to take the message home and become young advocate for early diagnosis and detection of Breast Cancer.

During questions and answer time, she shed more light on her role as the first lady of Ondo State, saying: “It is the duty of the first Lady to provide support for the governor, His Excellency by providing a good home. Also it is my duty to ensure the welfare of others.”
