TEAM Anambra has won two gold and six bronze medals in the Wushu Kunfu event of the 21 National Sports Festival going on in Asaba.
Anambra won one gold each in the male and female categories and three bronze each in the two categories to end their medals chase in the event.
In the final medals table released at the conclusion of the event on Thursday, Delta led the pack with 13 gold, seven silver and nine bronze; Bayelsa was second with eight gold, two silver and 12 bronze while Edo came third with six gold, seven silver and 11 bronze.
Rivers State garnered three gold, four silver and six bronze to finish fourth, Akwa Ibom and Oyo states two gold each, four and two silver respectively and two bronze each.
Lagos, Kano and Cross River won one gold each to register their names on the medals table.
A total of 39 gold, 39 silver and 78 bronze medals were won in the Wushu Kunfu event.
