Anambra hails students for 2018 Technovation STEM World Pitch Competition

ANAMBRA State government has hailed students of Regina Pacis Secondary School, Onitsha for qualifying to represent Nigeria and Africa at a scientific innovative competition in the US.

The event is 2018 Technovation STEM World Pitch Competition to be staged at the Silicon, Valley, US.

C. Don Adinuba, Anambra State commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, said, “the government and people of Anambra are proud of you the young minds that have emerged as National champions to represent the state in far away US.

“Go there as worthy Ambassadors and demonstrate to the world the `can do spirit’ that has marked Ndi Anambra as state populated by creative people.

“You are going there with full support and endorsement of our amiable Gov. Willie Obiano, who will stop at nothing in ensuring that all you require to showcase your talents are provided,’’ Adinuba stressed.

“I sincerely commend the founder and leader of team, Mrs Uche Onwuamaegbu-Ugwu, whose direct encouragement has led to your emergence for this competition,’’ Adinuba said.
