THE Anambra State Ministry of Health has kicked against the growing negative antics of Onyeze Jesus, who is based in Nkpor in Idemili North Local Government Area of the state.
In a letter addressed to the Chairman of the Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria, Anambra State and signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Nwankwo, Nwabueze Linus, the government disassociated itself from the deceit and pranks perpetrated by Onyeze Jesus, which is said to have overflowed into internet social platforms.
According to the letter, Onyeze Jesus’s videos where he had been taking people to the river to bath nude and spraying money is currently circulating on social media, which according to the ministry of health is against the culture and tradition of the people.
The letter also noted that the Executive Governor of the state, Willie Obiano, frowns at this behavior, and goes ahead to warn that Onyeze Jesus has claimed that he would be raising seven dead bodies today and appealed to all health facilities and mortuaries not to give him such dead bodies.
The ministry, however, warned that no such dead bodies or corpses should be given to Onyeze Jesus to perpetuate his magic as punitive measures will be meted out to defaulters.
“It has been observed that Onyeze Jesus, is involved in get-rich-quick scam and raising such dead bodies will escalate the scourge of Covid-19, which is already getting out of hand,” the letter added.
