Anioma traditional rulers hail Sen. Nwoko’s  effective representation

THE Traditional Rulers of Anioma, in Delta North Senatorial District, on Wednesday passed a vote of implicit confidence on Sen. Ned Nwoko for effective representation.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Sen. Nwoko, Regina Daniel’s husband, is the senator representing Delta North Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Abuja.

The motion moved by the Traditional Ruler of Ukala Okpunor Kingdom, Obi Clement Ejiofor, was unanimously endorsed by all the other rulers during the unveiling of the Senator’s Office in Asaba.

The event which culminated in a “Thank You Town Hall” meeting, was attended by the traditional rulers, politicians, youths and community leaders and dignitaries from the area to honour “an illustrious Son and a performer per excellence.”

They said that Nwoko has recorded unprecedented achievements through important bills, motions and empowerments all dedicated to the development of Anioma nation and people of Delta and Nigeria in general.

The traditional rulers assured that they had adopted Nwoko as sole senatorial candidate ahead of another round of elections.

Responding, Nwoko thanked the Traditional Rulers and the people of Delta North for their usual and unalloyed support.

He promised and pledged his continued commitment to attract more dividends of democracy to the people of Anioma Nation for exercising implicit trust in his leadership.

He said that better days are here, adding that youths and women remained  an integral part of his constituency blueprint for the next phase of his constituency projects.

NAN also reports that the political leaders and people of the area had earlier lauded Sen. Nwoko’s exemplary leadership and accomplishments at the National Assembly. (NAN)
