The Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party (ANRP), has slashed fee for Expression of Interest (EOI) and nomination forms by 50 per cent, and also extended deadline for its sale by two days.
Mrs Ebere Okonkwo, the party’s National Secretary, made the disclosure in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja.
Okonkwo said that the deadline for the sale of the EOI and nomination forms would now end in the next 24 hours.
Okonkwo said that the changes were necessitated by some minor reviews carried out by the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC).
“If the screening in any particular state is Sept. 9, the deadline for the payment of expression of interest fee and request for the EOI form will be on Sept. 7,” she said.
Okonkwo advised that aspirants should contact their state chairmen for details on the dates of screening in each state.
She noted that when sending back the EOI forms to the National Secretariat, all aspirants would be expected to attach a copy of their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) or Temporary voter cards (TVCs) to it.
“All aspirants are to attach their PVCs or TVCs, party membership identity card and proof of payment of EOI for the nomination forms, “she added
She however noted that the partys guidelines and election schedule for 2019 general elections would soon be updated.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the EOI for presidency was N80,000 and nomination fee N1.5million before the slash.(NAN)
