THE National Working Committee of the All Progressive Congress, APC, has congratulated Ahmed Bola Tinubu for emerging the flagbearer of the party for the 2023 general election.

The message, in a letter signed by Abdullahi Adamu, the committee chairman, came shortly after the announcement of the results, to celebrate the party’s national leader for his victory.

Adamu, who wrote on behalf of the entire membership of the APC, felicitated with Tinubu, saying that his victory “has vindicated our Party’s nationalistic outlook and patriotic posture as the Party of choice for every Nigerian”.

He further expressed hope that the collaborative efforts between the Party’s National

Secretariat and Presidential campaign of his (Tinubu) team will proceed with the shared expectations of victory at the 2023 general elections.

Recall that Tinubu came up ahead of more than 13 presidential aspirants of the APC, at the Eagles Square, Abuja pulling 55.9% of the entire votes.

He was followed by Rotimi Amaechi, the former Rivers State Governor and minister of transportation, who got 316 then Prof. Temi Osinbajo, the Vice President, who secured 235 votes.
