ASA, Nigeria’s contemporary music queen, has released the third album of her music career.

The soulful artist, who real name is Bukola Elemide released the album titled ‘Beds of Stones, on Monday, August 25, 2014. The 14 track album features some of Asa’s already popular singles such as Dead Again, How Did Love Find Me, Eyo, Satan Be Gone, Bed Of Stone and many more.

Asa is expected to hold a nationwide promotional tour for the album before the end of the year.

MICHAEL Agbo Idibia, father of Tuface Idibia, Nigerian pop singer, is dead. Idibia died in an unnamed hospital in Abuja after battling with prostate cancer for about one year.

The deceased was an alumnus of Kansas State University, United States and retired from the ministry of Agriculture, Makurdi, Benue State.

Confirming the death, the family, in a press statement issued Saturday, August 23, night, said: “With sadness in our hearts, but with gratitude to God for a life well spent, we announce the passing on of our father, brother, uncle and in-law, Mr. Michael Agbo Idibia, a native of Okpokwu Edumoga in Benue State. He is survived by wife, Mrs. Rose Owoyi Idibia, children: Steven Idibia, Innocent ’2face’ Idibia, Hyacinth Idibia and Oche Idibia, grand-children, and siblings.”

The family said late Idibia’s burial arrangements will be announced soon, the family said.

Ja-Rule, Ashanti to Perform in Nigeria

JA RULE, an American rap star and Ashanti, an R&B singer, would thrill their Nigerian fans at the this year’s edition of ‘Warri Again’, an annual concert used to mark the  Independence celebration in Delta State.

The organisers of the concert said Ja Rule and Ashanti who hit limelight with a collaboration titled “Always on time” in 2001 would also perform some of their other songs.

They singers would be supported by some Nigerian music stars, including Davido, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Iyanya, Seyi Shay, Yemi Alade, Dr Sid, Daddy Showkey, Flavour and Oritsefemi.

‘Warri Again’ is a show aimed at rebranding Warri and making it a destination for entertainment.
