Association, hospital synergize to enhance health status of citizens in Nasarawa

PRESIDENT of Eggon Cultural and Development Association (ECDA) Worldwide, Mr. David Abuluya, has assured the Chief Medical Director (CMD), Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH), Lafia, Dr Ikrama Hassan, of the association’s support and synergy for improved health status of the people of the state.

Abuluya, who is the Proprietor, Nacabs Polytechnic, Akwanga, Nasarawa State, gave the assurance when he visited the CMD in his office on Thursday in Lafia.

He said that the visit was to cement the cordial relationship between the association and the hospital.

According to him, “We will support and work in synergy with you to enable you  succeed in initiating good health policies and programmes that will have direct bearing on the health status of the people of the state.”

The ECDA president commended the CMD for his efforts in developing the hospital and called for its sustenance.

“We are here to identify and appreciate you for the good works you are doing in this hospital.

“We are happy with your developmental efforts in this hospital and pray God to continue to bless you abundantly,” he said

The ECDA President also sought for effective synergy with the hospital for the overall development of Eggon nation and the state at large.

Abuluya, who is also the Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Nasarawa State, used the medium to call on the people of the state to continue to pray and support the CMD and his management team to succeed.

Responding, the CMD, Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, Lafia, appreciated the ECDA president for the visit and assured them of his readiness to discharge his duties without fear or favour.

He described the visit by the ECDA president as first of kind while promising to work with ECDA for the overall development of the hospital and the state at large

“We will work together for the progress and development of our people and the state at large, as the importance of health to human and societal development could not be overemphasized,” he said

The CMD assured of his continued commitment to initiate good health policies and programmes that would have direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state. (NAN)
