Atanmo commends Obiano’s N20m Community Choose Your Project Initiative

PHILIP Atanmo, a former national vice-president of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, Anambra State chapter, has said the completed skills acquisition centre at Ogidi, would provide jobs for the unemployed in the community.

Atanmo, an indigene of Ogidi said this during an inspection visit to the site of the complex.

According to the university don, the project was executed under the first phase of Governor Willie Obiano “N20m Community Choose your Project Initiative.’’

He noted that the edifice was the best of its kind in the state and announced that the community had commenced the second phase of the project, which involved the fencing of the Ogidi Town Hall premises and equipping the skills acquisition centre.

Atanmo urged Obiano to assist the community in equipping the centre.

The community leader commended the governor for his purposeful administration which occasioned the massive votes he won from the community during the Nov. 18, Governorship Election in the state.
