Azu Ishiekwene to host Book Reading in Abuja

ACCLAIMED journalist, author, and columnist Azu Ishiekwene, will host a book reading event for his latest work, “Writing for Media and Monetising It”, on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 5 pm at the Rovingheights Bookstore in Area 11, Garki, Abuja.

Maupe Ogun-Yusuf, a top anchor at Channels TV, will moderate the event, which promises to be an engaging session exploring the theme of the book.

The book reading aims to engage readers and explore the theme of content creators, especially journalists, receiving fair rewards for their works.

Ishiekwene’s book has received widespread acclaim since it was launched on June 26 and is now available in various locations in Abuja and Lagos.

The event has generated significant interest, with top journalists, including Premium Times’ Publisher Dapo Olorunyomi, expected to attend. Journalists from various media houses, including The NATION, ThisDay, Vanguard, DAILY TRUST, PUNCH, Guardian, LEADERSHIP and broadcast media, will also participate.
