THE Organisers of the Badagry International Film Festival on Tuesday announced the postponement of their festival scheduled from Oct. 25 to 28.

It is now shifted to Nov. 15 to 18.

Mr Viyon Awhanse, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the festival, in a statement in Lagos, said this was due to some unforeseen circumstances beyond their control.

“This is also to enable us to get all the logistics in place.

“We regret any inconvenience this might cause in your already planned schedule.

“We look forward to welcoming you to Badagry in November,’’ he said.

Viyon said the festival would serve as a platform for exploring new insights and perspectives that could inspire societal change.

“Filmmakers and participants from diverse backgrounds will come together to share their stories and forge meaningful connections that can shape the future of our historical identity.
