The Indigenous People of Biafra insists on freedom and sovereignty of Biafra as the only way out of the colonial contraption called Nigeria

THE Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has reaffirmed its position that the freedom and sovereignty of Biafra is not negotiable no-matter the political permutations in Nigeria, declaring that the sovereign state of Biafra would soon be actualised.

IPOB said, in a statement by Emma Powerful, its spokesman, that the irregularities that characterised the March 23, presidential election vindicated its position that voting in Nigeria is of no use.

“Voting in Nigeria is useless. We have been vindicated by the result of the shambolic, rigging fest they call elections.

“The unacceptable levels of humiliation, intimidation, killing, announcement of fake results, coupled with sponsored propaganda against our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and the entire peaceful movement, cannot stop our total resolve to restore Biafra sovereignty in the shortest possible time.

“Only a moron and worker of iniquity will pretend not to know what transpired in the colonial contraption called Nigeria during the recently concluded presidential election. Using the military, police and armed thugs to rig in favour of the ruling APC was clear for all to see.,” it said.

The group called on all strata of the Biafran society to support the quest to liberate Biafra, saying that is the only way to avoid Biafrans, their children and generations unborn being enslaved in Nigeria.

“Therefore, politicians, artisans, traders, academics, professionals, businessmen and women in Biafraland and all over the world must support IPOB in this noble quest for Biafra liberation or we are doomed to be enslaved in Nigeria along with our children and generations unborn”, the statement further stated.
