BOA transfers 831 pensioners to PTAD

THE Pension Transitional Arrangement of Directorate (PTAD), said that the Bank of Agriculture (BoA), had transferred 831 pensioners of the “Defunct Nigerian Agricultural Corporative Bank (NACB)” to it.

The Executive Secretary of PTAD, Dr Chioma Ejikeme, said this during the verification of the BoA pensioners in Abuja on Wednesday.

Ejikeme said that the verification for the Northern zone was taking place simultaneously in Abuja and Kano.

She commended BoA for taking care of the pensioners and promised to continue from where they stopped.

“ The verification will end in Sept.,” she said.

The BoA Head of Human Resources, Mrs Tsukunda Yakubu, said that the North has over 500 pensioners, with 433 pensioners in verified in Abuja, Kano while the verification was ongoing.

She commended the Federal Government for always taking care of the senior citizens.

One of the pensioners, Mr Salihu Momoh, commended the Executive Secretary for all her laudable efforts in the directorate.

 “ Women are compassionate leaders and mothers,” he said.  (NAN)
