Breaking: Benue massacre: Ortom, Tor Tiv, Mark, Akume, Waku, in closed-door meeting with Buhari

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari is currently having a closed-door meeting with political and traditional leaders of Benue State led by the State Governor Samuel Ortom.
Also present at the meeting that started about 12:30pm are the Tor Tiv, His Royal Majesty Prof. James Ortese Orzua Ayatse, former Senate President, David Mark, former governor, Senator George Akume and Senator Barnabas Gemade.
Others include Senator JK Waku, Lawrence Onoja, former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Micheal Aondoakaa, the State Deputy Governor, Benson Abounu, the Speaker of Benue State House of Assembly, Terkimbir Kyambe, members of the National and State Assembly from the State as well as members of the State Traditional Rulers.
From the government side are the President himself, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha, Chief of Staff to the President Abba Kyari, Director General, Department of State Services, Lawan Daura, the Minister of Agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbeh, the Minister of Interior, Ibrahim Danbazzau and the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
They are at the State House to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari on the recent killings in the State. – Vanguard
