DONALD Trump finally departed the White House as one-term, twice impeached American president on Wednesday, 20th Jan. 2021.

Marine One chopper took him and his wife Melania from the seat of power to board the Joint Base Andrew for a departure ceremony that featured a 21-gun salute and his farewell speech before flying Airforce One, for the final time to Mar-a-Lago, Florida.

“Have a good life, we will see you again,” he told his supporters. And for first time since the November 7 election, he also wished the incoming President Joe Biden’s administration well, after refusing to concede defeat for almost two months.

Biden’s inauguration as America’s 46th Presidents follows shortly. He has his job cut out for him, including the healing of a deeply divided and debased America, and rebuilding of international relations damaged by Trumpism.

Trump’s turbulent four-year tenure has been overshadowed by his rally and incitement of his supporters, who invaded and unleashed mayhem on Capitol Hill, the seat of Congress on January 6.

That action led to his second record-breaking impeachment by the House of Representatives, with his possible trial by the Senate.

The consequences of his tenure will be felt in America and the rest of the world for some time to come!
