PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dan C. Anyanwu as the Provost of the Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri.

The appointment is for an initial period of four years, with effect from July 25.

The president charged the new provost to transform the Institution into an enviable National Academic and Moral Centre of Excellence, according to a statement signed by Olusegun Adekunle, permanent Secretary (General Services Office), Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and made available to Realnews this evening.
