Buhari Approves Promotion of 907 FRSC Staff

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has approved the promotion of 907 officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, to various ranks.
Bisi Kazeem, corps commander and head media relations and strategy, in a statement released to the press, said 90 assistant corps commanders were promoted to the rank of deputy corps commanders; 35 senior route commanders promoted to the rank of chief route commanders and 24 route commanders were promoted to the rank of senior route commanders while 758 deputy route commanders were moved to the rank of route commanders.
In his reaction, Boboye Oyeyemi, corps marshal of the FRSC, commended the newly promoted officers, and urged them to always put in their best in the course of their duties.
Kazeem’s statement said in part: “The corps marshal is assuring officers of the Corps that there are more opportunities for promotion in the near future, and is calling on all officers to work hard and put in a great effort to enable the corps achieve its mandate of road traffic crash reduction.”
The FRSC media chief further disclosed that the management of the corps would soon assign new job designations to the newly promoted officers.
