Buhari Fires NPA MD

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has terminated the appointment of Sanusi Ado Bayero, managing director, Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA. Femi Adesina, President’s spokesman, said the termination of Bayero’s appointment is with immediate effect.

“He is to hand over the management of the NPA and all government property in his possession to Habibu Abdullahi who has been reinstated as Managing Director of the NPA by President Buhari. President Buhari wishes Alhaji Bayero well in his future endeavours.”

Bayero was appointed by former President Goodluck Jonathan on April 30, 2015.
