PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari will be proceeding to London, the United Kingdom, on Tuesday for a routine medical check-up.

Femi Adesina, special adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, confirmed this development in a statement in Abuja on Monday.

According to him, Buhari will meet with security chiefs first in the morning, after which he will embark on the journey.

”He is due back in the country during the second week of April, 2021,” he added.

This is not the first time Buhari is going on medical tourism since he assumed office in 2015 But the longest was in 2017 when he spent 104 days in a London hospital.
