Buhari off to London for another medical check-up

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari is expected to leave for London, United Kingdom, UK, on Monday for medical check up.

Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, made the disclosure via a tweet on his verified personal handle @FemiAdesina earlier in the day.

According to Adesina, who also issued a press statement on the medical trip, the President will return to the country second week of November.

“The President had canceled his planned inauguration of the new Technology and Innovation complex of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) to preside over an emergency meeting of the National Security Council.”

Realnews reports that Buhari who had departed Abuja for Owerri, Imo, after presiding over a meeting of the National Security Council in Abuja, would proceed to London after his official engagement in Owerri where he traveled to flag off the Conference and Retreat for Senior Police Officers.
