THE Field Operations Directorate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara says the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari for a second term will bring prosperity to the state.

The Deputy Coordinator of the APC Field Operations in Kwara, Kayode Oyin-Zubair, said this on Wednesday in Ilorin in a statement.

He described the victory of the president and the APC in Saturday’s elections as an act of  God.

Oyin-Zubair said Buhari’s government had  recorded tremendous improvement in  governance, dedication to duty and integrity..

“We are confident that his second term in office will not only improve on those areas of strength, but take the country to the next level of development and enhance her status amongst the comity of nations.

“We congratulate Nigerians for driving peaceful election and transition processes; this will undoubtedly usher us into prosperity and tranquility,” he said.

He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, political parties, election monitors and those directly or indirectly involved in the electoral process.

“It is therefore logical for residents of Kwara State to move with the tide; we cannot afford to be in opposition again.

“We must vote in the APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Abdulraham Abdulrazaq on March 9^th,  2019 and all APC  candidates for  the State House of Assembly.

“Kwara must use the forthcoming election to put the state on the path of speedy recovery from those years of locust foisted on us by a heartless cabal,” Oyin-Zubair said. (NAN)
