CAC emerges winner of 2022 NASMEs award of excellence

THE Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), has emerged winner of the 2022 Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASMEs) Award for excellence in corporate governance and regulation.
This is contained in a statement issued by Mr Rasheed Mahe, CAC’s Head of Media Unit on Monday in Abuja.
Mahe said that the CAC added another feather to its cap during the NASMEs 25th Anniversary Lecture and Award Night recently held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.
The statement quoted NASMEs president, Dr Abdulrashid Yerima as commending the commission for its support toward promoting the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the country.
He solicited the commission’s continued collaboration with NASMEs to boost the nation’s economy.
Receiving the award, the Registrar-General of CAC, Alhaji Garba Abubakar, thanked NASMEs for recognisng the commission’s contributions toward promoting MSMEs’ development in the country.
Abubakar, represented by Duke Ukaga, the Director, Public Affairs of the commission, pledged the continued support and collaboration with the association to further grow the MSMEs sector.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that other organisations awarded at the event included the Development Bank of Nigeria, and the Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC).
Others were the Small and Medium Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), and the Raw Materials Research and Development Council. (NAN)
