Caleb University promotes Elvis Otobo

THE Management of Caleb University, Imota, Lagos has promoted Elvis Otobo, its head of Public and Community Relations, as the deputy director, Public Relations and Marketing of the institution with effect from July 1.
Otobo has worked in many blue-chip companies and held many positions in the institution before this new appointment. He was Public Relations Officer, 2017; Head – Media and Public Relations, 2018; and Head – Public and Community Relations 2020.
Otobo is a versatile and hardworking technocrat with excellent skills in his areas of specialization. He is a media and public relations guru, with good understanding of online promotions and marketing strategist of international standard with over 12 years’ professional experience in developing and implementing strategies that promote organizational brand, managing corporate social responsibility, media relations, stakeholders’ relations, and integrated marketing campaigns.
Otobo is an active member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR); member Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON); Member International Public Relations Association (IPRA); Member International Advertising Association (IAA); Member Institute of Data and Marketing UK; Member International Council on Archives (ICA); member Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN) among many other local and international associations. He recently bagged his doctorate degree in Information Resources Management from Babcock University, Ogun State.
According to a letter signed by the Registrar of the institution, Folake Okor, stated inter alia “I write on behalf of the Council of Caleb University to offer you Appointment as Deputy Director, Public Relations and Marketing’’. Responding, Dr Elvis Otobo, said “I am excited and inspired, Caleb University is indeed one of the best institutions to work and grow your career, here talents are highly appreciated, hard work is rewarded, good work environment exists for effective discharge of duties, salaries are paid promptly and timely, Caleb University is a healthy institution, highly innovative with a positive culture and transparency”.
“I wish to thank the founder, Oladega Adebogun who is a specialist in identifying and growing raw talents and management for the confidence reposed in me and promised to be more enthusiastic and committed to my roles. Working in Caleb University is very fulfilling, and a dream come true,” Otobo said.
