“When subjects are wrongly chosen, it will affect the students negatively in the future.’’
Ugoeze, a lawyer by training then, called on parents and counsellors to guide the children aright in their ultimate choices of future careers.
The director noted that factors that influence students’ career include parental, peer group, guidance counsellors and economic issues.
It was gathered that the forum was a time, when teachers and non tutorial staff to discuss problems involving academic performance of students and proffer solutions.
Ngozi Asika, principal of the school, advised teachers to always carry all students along — the brilliant and the not so brilliant in school activities.
She, however, commended Governor Willie Obiano, “The Alert Governor’’, for his landmark achievements in the educational sector.
