CBN postpones September 2023 MPC meeting

THE Central Bank of Nigeria has postponed the Monetary Policy Committee’s 293rd meeting scheduled to hold on Monday and Tuesday, September 25 and 26, 2023.

The new date will be communicated in due course.

This is according to a statement on the agencies website on Thursday September 21.

The statement which was signed by Isa AbdulMumin, the bank’s Director of Corporate Communications, revealed also regretted any inconvenience this change may cause its stakeholders and the general public.

part of the statement read, “The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria has deferred its 293rd meeting scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, September 25 and 26, 2023, respectively.

“A new date will be communicated in due course.

“We regret any inconvenience this change may cause our stakeholders and the general public.”
