Celebration of 2021 Oyolima Cultural Festival in Umuoji

THE Oyolima comedy and laughter night was really a spectacular show, organized by the board of trustees and the entire members of Oyolima Umuoji Cultural Foundation with dignitaries and the people of Umuoji in Idemili North Local Government Area, LGA, of Anambra State gracing the occasion.
The event, which took place at Limpopo Garden and Bar, Umuoji recently, had in attendance Onwurah Agility Ezeoke, founder Nollywood New Yam Festival as the chairman of the occasion, Uche Nworah, managing director, MD, Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Eze Augustine Sunday Ojukwu, Ikechukwu Oliver Akpudo (Ezedipramms V Kano state) among other personalities.
The comedy and laughter night was the climax of an event that started on December 27, 2021, which featured traditional wrestling, inelegant masquerade, Izaga, and other traditional dancers, who also performed in their classical form.
The Oyolima comedy and laughter night, which attracted the best of Umuoji indigenes also featured DMX acrobatics, I go talk comedian, who mesmerized the audience while doing what they do best.
Mmaduaborochukwu Orakwe, the winner, who emerged from the organized Oyolima traditional wrestling was decorated by Sly Onyima, the president general, Umuoji Improvement Union Nigeria.
While expressing his joy, the president general lauded the organizers of the event and promised to give maximum support for the 2022 Oyolima. Presenting the cup to the winner of the wrestling competition, Onyima encouraged him to be a good ambassador.
Chukwuemeka Nwachukwu, the chairman of the board of trustee, also promised to have a better and bigger Oyolima traditional event in 2022, while Osy Praise, the chairman of the planning committee, who was represented by Uche Udego, the secretary also expressed joy on the outcome of the programme.
