Chief of army staff, 7 others die in plane crash

Attahiru Ibrahim, chief of army staff, has died in a military Beachcraft 350 aircraft which crashed at the Kaduna International Airport on Friday, May 21.
The plane crash occurred at the airport’s runway about 6 pm, claiming lives of all eight passengers onboard.
Akin Olateru, commissioner and chief executive officer of the Accident Investigation Bureau, confirmed the incident.
