Output of liquefied petroleum gas rose 7.1 per cent year-on-year to 6.43 million tonnes, while gasoline production increased 5.3 per cent to 23.8 million tonnes.
Fuel output added two per cent to reach 3.55 million tonnes during Jan. to Feb., and kerosene production climbed 6.2 per cent to 7.96 million tonnes.
However, China saw a fall in diesel output, which decreased to 27.65 million tonnes.
Monday’s data also showed that production of lead and copper reached 923,000 tonnes and 1.34 million tonnes, up 32.6 per cent and 6.3 per cent, respectively. (Xinhua/NAN)
