China says imported COVID-19 cases have become main risk

CHINA’s foreign ministry said on Monday that imported Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases involving travellers entering the country from abroad have become the main risk.

According to the official China Central Television, (CCTV) Beijing has  logged six new imported cases of Coronavirus as of  Monday 2 p.m

Of the new cases, four were from Spain, while two were from the UK.

Chinese foreign ministry spokesman, Geng Shuang told reporters during a briefing that health checks and quarantine measures are being imposed equally to Chinese nationals and foreigners entering China from overseas. (Reuters /NAN)
