China’s state owned enterprises record rising revenue in 7 months

CHINA’S state-owned enterprises (SOEs) have announced increase in revenue in the first seven months.
Data from the Ministry of Finance on Monday indicated that the SOEs generated 45.78 trillion Yuan (about 6.67 trillion dollars) in operating revenue in from January to July.
According to the data, the revenue generated is up by 9.5 per cent from the same period in 2021.
The data showed that combined profits of SOEs declined by 2.1 per cent year-on-year to 2.68 trillion Yuan in the period under review.
Meanwhile, total profits of China’s centrally administered SOEs rose by 4.3 per cent from a year earlier to 1.92 trillion Yuan in the period according to the data.
The data also showed that the SOEs operating revenue edged up by 10.6 per cent to 25.75 trillion Yuan. (Xinhua/NAN)
