THE Coalition For Good Governance in Osun State has observed, and wish to commend the priority that the Osun State Government has given to the welfare of the Osun civil servants.

This is in reaction to the modalities for the payment of all backlogs of debts being owed the State civil servants by the previous administrations in the State.

The statement released by the Osun State Head of Service announced the modaities for payment of all arrears of half salaries dating back as far as January 2016, monthly payment of the Contributory Pension for both State and Local Governments and other benefits due to all public servants

This is in line with what is expected from a good government that is focused on delivering on its mandate.

Prompt payment of salaries and benefits of public servants is a right, and it helps in boosting the morales of the civil service, and service delivery to the people of Osun State.

The State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency, is further encouraged to look at policies that will boost human capacity development of Osun State, and overall welfare of the people of Osun State.
