A cleric, Rev Tajan Moltok, on Sunday decried the practice of lesbianism and homosexuality as he described the acts as evil.

Delivering a sermon in Jos on “The danger of evil’’, he expressed concerns that lesbianism and homosexuality had become pervasive as people were initiated into the acts for occultism and for wealth.

“Never be found in it,’’ he admonished and added: “it is not of God. It is used to defile children for spiritual purposes to take their glory.’’

He also said transgender postulation was a deviation from God’s design on the sexes he created for people and described the positioning as a depravity.

Moltok berated trans-genders on their statements targeted at cajoling youths to change their sexuality for material gains saying: “everything is not about money.’’

He said God is not an author of confusion and urged Christian faithful to always seek Him to direct their affairs.

“If God lifts you, you will enjoy tranquillity,’’ he stressed.

He noted that some believers usually came under evil when they missed opportunities and suffered affliction without intervention.

Moltok added that such believers also stagnated without growth; suffered rejection because of identity crisis and lived in contrast to their purpose on earth. (NAN)
