AMB. David Tyomanger, Chief Servant, the Divine Grace Ministry International, has called on youths to remain focused, clamour for a leadership position and avoid being used as mercenaries to foment violence

The Man of God made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Monday in Abuja.

He also advised the youths to be of good conduct in the society, especially during the forthcoming elections.

Tyomanger, also an advocate of youth leadership, urged them to take their future into their hands and leverage on the opportunities provided by President Muhammadu Buhari.

He said that Buhari by signing the “Not Too Young To Run bill” into law had allowed them to vie for political positions of their choice.

The cleric added that, ” with prayers on the altars of God, no youth will be deceived into social vices.

”The youths should not to allow themselves to be used as tools to perpetrate violence or any form of crimes.”

Tyomanger also urged them not to be allowed to be used by some elites for their selfish interests.

The Chief Servant said his ministry had initiated more youth programmes ”to convince and divert their attention from social vices.”

The clergy urged youths to make their voices crystal clear on the right changes they were really yearning for, adding, ”when that is done, the church and Nigerians  would support them.

“It is time for the older generation to give room for the younger generation to take over leadership to make it right.

“ And, the responsibility lies on you as youths to take this into your own hands to fix the future of this country.

“You should not avail yourselves to be used as tools to perpetrate any form of violence or crimes, because the future of this country lies in your hands.” (NAN)
