CIVIL Society Organisations (CSOs) under the auspices of Center for Credible Leadership and Citizen Awareness (CCLCA) has tasked the All Progressives Congress (APC) to allow lawmakers at the 10th National Assembly to elect their leaders without interference.

The Director-General of the coalition, Dr Gabriel Nwambu, said this at a news conference on Friday in Abuja.

Nwambu said there was need to sustain the legacy of President Muhammadu Buhari who insisted on a level playing ground for all aspirants at the 2023 APC primaries.

He said that Section 50 (1a) and (1b) of the Constitution states clearly that members shall elect the senate president, the speaker and their deputies.(NAN)
