Coker in as Vice-Chairman, Lagos FA

THE Media Coordinator, Lagos Football Association, Akeem Busari, said that the Executive Board of the association had elected Adedotun Coker as the new Vice Chairman.
He said in a statement on Thursday that Coker was elected at the association’s secretariat, at a board meeting in Lagos.
Busari quoted the association Chairman, Gafar Liameed as expressing his satisfaction with the exercise, after it was conducted by the electoral committee chairman, Alhaji Abdulazeez Tijani.
He quoted Liameed as describing the new vice-chairman as a very experienced football technocrat.
“This is a dream come true.
“I earnestly looked forward to this day and thank God that I now have this great Nigerian and vastly resourceful football administrator as my Vice-Chairman,” Liameed is quoted as saying.
The chairman, according to Busari, assured that there would be a stronger and more positive relationship amongst members of the board, for the betterment of football in Lagos and Nigeria.
Busari quoted Coker as expressing his happiness on his election, promising to be loyal to the board and to work assiduously for the development of football in Lagos and Nigeria.(NAN)
