Collapsed Building Traps Two in Abuja

TWO persons are currently buried under the rubble of a four-storey building that collapsed at Gwarimpa Estate, Abuja, in the early hours of the day.

Six others who were believed to be construction workers have been rescued and taken to the hospital.

The victims were trapped when the building collapsed around 1am today. Rescue workers from the National Emergency Management Agency, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and Julius Berger Plc, are currently at the scene working to rescue those buried under the rubble. – Punch
