Commissioner of Police Abdulkadir Jimoh dies

ABDULKADIR Jimoh, commissioner of police in Cross River State, on Friday, December 18,  died in Calabar, Cross River State, after battling with health challenges for some weeks.

Prof. Ikpeme A. Ikpeme, chief medical director of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, who confirmed the unfortunate incident, said he was brought into the hospital facility, practically dead on Friday morning.

He did not declare the cause of the death but advised those who have been in close contact with the late commissioner police to be on self-isolation as well as visit the UCTH for a COVID-19 test. – NAN
