Appoints Ramy Moselhy as the new Market Unit head for the region
Comviva, the global leader in mobility solutions, today announced Ramy Moselhy as the new Market Unit Head for Middle-East and North Africa, MENA, region. This appointment comes at a time when Comviva is aggressively focusing on expanding its footprint across the MENA region to achieve the next growth phase. The company is targeting over two-fold business growth in the region over the next three years, with a strong focus on digital solutions and data analytics technologies.
Comviva is strongly investing in a mobile first, data enabled and contextually relevant offerings and is continuously strengthening its research & development and operational support of technologies in mobile financial, data analytics, enterprise messaging and digital services. It is also focusing on strategic partnerships and acquisitions as key to its growth strategy. This will help the company contribute to innovation within the industry and support the digital transformation of the region.
Manoranjan ‘Mao’ Mohapatra, the chief executive officer, Comviva commented: “The mobility solutions space in MENA region is set to witness a significant growth with the ongoing digital transformation of the region led by the increasing penetration of digital technologies and last mile network connectivity. Moselhy brings with him almost two decades of experience in a wide range of multinational environments in sales management roles. He brings a strong cross geographical and culture team integration and working experience in Middle-East, Europe and Eurasia regions with solid sales achievements. Prior to joining Comviva, he most recently led the global sales and growth strategy across entire MENA region at eServGlobal. He has served several global sales management roles in Ericsson and Vodafone Group.
