Concerned youths offer to buy nomination form for Obi

SOME concerned Nigerian youths have offered to buy nomination form for Peter Obi, a People’s Democratic Party, PDP frontline candidate in the upcoming 2023 general elections.

The youths, who recently had a meeting with Obi, promised to pay for his declearation of Interest and nomination forms.

According to the video, which has since gone viral, the youths called on other Nigerian youths to join them at the PDP national secretariat on Wednesday in Abuja.

In the video, one of the youths was seen addressing the gathering, while Obi looks on with a smile on his face as he pressed his phone.

Abstract:

“I want to also say it again in front of all of us here, the collaboration of between Lekki/Ikoyi toll gate, and the like minds of Ikorodu, we are going to combine the aspiration of interest and nomination form, and we are going to Abuja on Wednesday to buy it at the national headquarters. 

“If you are available on Wednesday, we can all meet in front of the PDP House for 10am because we intend to buy it before 11am.

“The youths, come out too. like minds of Peter Obi, you too will not fail us.

“You too should make sure you are there. Thank you very much,” he said.

Realnews reports that the former Anambra State governor had on Thursday declared his intention to run for President in 2023.

He made the declaration in Awka at a gathering of traditional rulers in Anambra State.

Obi was running mate to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 presidential election.

When asked why he was attending the declaration event of a potential rival, Obi said Atiku Abubakar “is my leader” and that “politics is not war.”
